Debbie has a strong career in the events and marketing industry spanning over two decades, within the not-for- profit, private and agency sectors. Her experience includes organising and promoting large scale public events attracting thousands of visitors through to high-level niche events for the major donor and finance sector. Her portfolio includes exhibitions, conferences, recruitment events, learning events, networking events, team-building events, product launches, corporate events, awards ceremonies and charity fundraising. She also provides training on successful event management and promotion.
Julian worked briefly in the human resources team of a national children’s charity, before joining a charity recruitment company (where he met Debbie) as a recruitment consultant in 2001. After more than a decade spent in recruitment, Julian has advised hundreds of clients on thousands of appointments, and managed several large- scale, national recruitment projects. As well as recruitment, he also specialises in redundancy outplacement workshops, salary and benefits benchmarking and other related project work, and speaks at various events about recruitment topics, works as a careers coach and teaches interview skills.
Christian is a recruitment specialist with particular responsibility for finance, business development and operations posts within professional membership bodies. Christian is passionate about sports and working with young people.
As a teenager, Christian spent four years in a full-time tennis program at the famous Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida. He graduated early and enrolled straight into Stirling University in Scotland, studying Business, as well as Economics at VSE in Prague.
In his professional career he has worked for financial companies before using his entrepreneurial spirit in starting a couple of businesses of his own, including a recruitment company and tennis camps for young people with a special focus on concentration and mental training. Christian joined the I Am Team in October 2014 and feels lucky enough to say “it’s a job and team I truly love!
Jack previously worked with a start-up organisation that aimed to help boost young professionals’ employability and explore alternative paths to employment, Jack brings a unique and creative approach to the recruitment world.
With a particular interest in the topics of Youth, Education and Globalisation, Jack has spent a year as an English teacher in China, has led a project in Mumbai in support of an ‘International Day For Street Children’ and has organised – and sat on – a panel discussion hosted at Europe House that aimed to answer the question: Youth, Talent and Enterprise: Seeds of discontent or architects of a better future?
As Strategy and Relationship Manager, Jack ensures things run smoothly, and is constantly on the lookout for new and improved ways of working.
