27th September | 8:30 am – 10:00 am – The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation by which the European Parliament, The European Council and the European Commission intend to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union (EU). Regardless of Brexit, organisations in the UK that collect and use personal data will need to comply with the new regulation. Although much of the new regulation matches the good practices and requirements already set by the Data Protection Act, there are significant changes that charities, membership organisations and other not-for-profit organisations should be aware of.
At this breakfast briefing Adapta Consulting’s Iain Pritchard will discuss the key changes and share tips on how to identify areas for change – and the processes you need to consider to ensure both your people and systems are working within the regulations.
